I’m Ali, a Joplin, Missouri-based photographer who has been professionally photographing weddings, couples, and families for nearly two years. My style is a mix of documentary with a touch of editorial while still making sure we get those “Grandma’s fridge” photos.

My Approach as a Second Shooter
My goal as a second shooter is to give you a completely different perspective of the day. I’m constantly looking for the angle you may not be seeing, anticipating what might happen next, and finding the artistic shot within the moment.
I tend to float around rather than stay right beside you, keeping an eye on guest reactions, unique compositions, and completely different ways of photographing the same moment. My goal is to complement your gallery, not recreate it.
Image Usage & Portfolio Expectations
As a second shooter, I’m happy to work alongside you and capture images that complement your vision while bringing my own creative perspective to the day. In exchange for my services, I ask that I’m able to use the images I capture for my photography portfolio website.
I would also love the opportunity to share select images from the wedding on my own social platforms. When sharing, I will always credit and tag you as the lead photographer and will not tag the couple, other vendors, or guests. My goal is simply to showcase my work and grow my portfolio while keeping the focus and credit on you as the lead photographer.
If portfolio and social media usage is not permitted, I’m happy to discuss an additional portfolio-use fee to account for the loss of marketing and portfolio value associated with the images. Any restrictions or additional fees will be agreed upon prior to the wedding date.

$40/HOur
Associate Photographer
I’m representing your brand and photographing on your behalf, working independently while following your vision, timeline, and overall shooting style to create a cohesive gallery.
$100/Hour
In addition to the hourly rate, travel is billed at $0.70 per mile for locations outside the Joplin area. Any wedding requiring more than 2 hours of travel each way will also require at least one night of paid lodging to ensure I can arrive rested and ready to work.
Behind the Scenes
I also love capturing you in action! I’m always happy to grab behind-the-scenes photos and videos of you working throughout the day, whether you need content for Instagram, TikTok, or just want a few fun BTS moments to remember. Consider me your extra set of eyes for content while you’re busy doing what you do best!
